I found that the Armstrong air conditioner was low on refrigerant and the cool speed was set wrong. I added refrigerant and switched the cool speed setting. I cycled the system and unit is cooling and operating properly at this time.

I completed a diagnostic on a Goodman gas furnace. Determined that the ignitor was cracked and that the control board was bad. I gave the client an estimate for repairs. I also gave the client an estimate to replace the furnace. I recommend that due to the age, condition and cost of repairs (seen and unseen) that the unit be replaced. Client declined any repairs at this time. Client will check with insurance company before proceeding.

Found the 2014 Lennox system coding roll out safety tripped. Jumped out safety and system still would code open safety. Pulled board and found several burnt contacts. Found corrosion and hot spots on heat exchanger. Quoted new system and set install date.
