I Found coil frozen soild dethawed coil noticed blower motor not having great velocity at this point the thermostat or furnace circuit board is causing motor to lose a dc signal causing motor to slightly run. This caused the 2006 Bryant system to freeze. I’m quoting you both infinity control and Bryant 355 curcuit board.
Customer said to have smelled natural or propane gas last night about 11pm. Checked all gas appliances with a gas leak detector and got no hits throughout the entire house. Also checked charge on 2007 Lennox ac pressures for a piston system were 74- 25 superheat which is good for this system under this weather today. Unfortunately was unable to find anything at all as far as the culprit for gas smell last evening
Found that the compressor is running at 13.6 amps and the fan is running at 1.4. Compressor rated is 19 and fan rated is 1.4. Both compressor and fan are running good. Did notice the refrigerant pressures look okay but the SH and SC are off. Superheat is bouncing from 18 to 24. Subcool is bouncing from 12 to 14. Designed subcool is 17. System appears to be a little undercharged. pressures are bouncing +- 8 psi. None condensables are in the system causing pressures to bounce. Weighed in .5 lbs of r410a, pressures now 121/368. SH at 14 and subcool at 16.8. 21 degree delta T. Compressor is slightly loud but is not bad or failing at this time. Normal operation at this time. Quoting system replacement
